Attendance

A child having less than 75% attendance will not be allowed to write the final exam and also not be promoted.

His/her name will be struck off the school roll for remaining absent for more than 7 days without information.

Leave of absence up to a maximum 7 days only will be granted by the principal on a prior written application and for serious reasons only.

Leave application must be supported by a medical certificate if the student remains absent on account of illness.

A student who has been absent on the previous day will not be allowed to enter the class without the leave note signed by the parents/guardians.

If a student remains absent on the closing and opening days of major holidays without prior permission will have to pay a fine of Rs. 10/-. If absent because of illness he/she must inform the school office in writing along with a medical certificate within 5 days of the reopening of the school.
